As Managing Director National Quality Assurance, Jim is responsible for ensuring all Trammell Crow Residential projects exceed TCR standards for architectural, building code, accessibility, waterproof and various other disciplines. Jim has been associated with TCR since 1997 when he held the position of Development Associate. He was promoted to Managing Director in January 2007 and promoted to the national role over TCR Quality Assurance in 2010. Jim brings over 25 years of construction expertise to TCR.
Prior to TCR, Jim worked in construction for Cadence McShane Inc., a commercial construction general contractor. Prior to that, Jim was an Operations Manager for Landecor Construction. Jim received a B.B.A. degree in Management from Stephen F. Austin State University and a B.S. degree in Science Education from the University of Texas at Dallas. Based in Austin, Jim continues his education, earning substantial hours in Texas Real Estate Inspector, NCRA, Accessibility and other core building courses.
